About the AuthorBeverley Eikli, after spending her early years in Lesotho, emigrated with her family to Adelaide, Australia, but was lured back to Africa after reading the diaries of her grandfather. She found work as a safari camp manager and there she met a bush pilot whom she married after a whirlwind romance. Her husband's aviation career has taken them around the globe. Eikli now lives in Gisborne, a small town near Melbourne.
